Standing for Computer Aided Three Dimensional Interactive Application, CATIA is a gigantic, multiplatform CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM and 3D software. It is used in sketching, and 3D modeling product designs. This course introduces solid, sheet metal and surface modeling techniques of CATIA and how to use them for modeling product according to real life behaviours of the product.Â
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to use CATIA for product design and styling, from a multidisciplinary approach in a 3D atmosphere.
