Course Overview:

Electric Vehicles have no need for the engine and transmission. The two key components of EVs are: the motor and the battery. This course introduces EV technology and dives deep into battery management - covering the complex chemistry of metals (cobalt, lithium, nickel, etc), design, simulation, and analysis of parts of a battery system; protecting expensive battery cells from harsh conditions; and the design of charging and discharging architecture based on physical dynamics and control knobs.
